Right then... I haven't submitted any photographs in nearly a year, lol. I had plenty from last summer to go through, but unfortunately, since our computer broke, I didn't have Photoshop anymore and I hated working on Picasa, so I just kept the shots in the camera until now. I can finally sharpen properly and make sure everything is as it should be before submitting. No adjustment here besides sharpening. These aren't actual dungeon stairs but stairs in a tunnel gallery where they used to mine limestone underneath the city of Arras, France. The whole underground system was used also during WWI by the Allies to hold back the German troops from taking the city.

I put this in conceptual because I had this shot in mind ever since I'd walked in the tunnels and had the concept in the head just waiting for the right opportunity to present itself. I took a dozen shots of those same stairs, trying for the right settings that would give that darker, more mysterious mood. I wanted it to look like a dungeon and I think I managed it well enough. What do you think?

I would have made it darker, but the tunnel was dark as it was and my camera isn't a professional one with all the heavy duty settings needed for it. I had to take it without flash (the flash reverberated on the rocks around and made everything too bloody bright, I hate using the flash anyway, I prefer natural lighting when I can manage it) and without a tripod, so forgive the blur.

Grr, full view isn't working... No idea why, sorry.
