I've been away for too long... and I've 4 months worth of devs, comments and journals to go through. Been here off and on, but not often and all I've done so far was weed out the bits of devwatch I wasn't immediately interested in, view a few devs and answer a comment or two at night. So, I'm passing overwhelmed with comments/journals/news/etc and falling farther behind every day. If there is something you would like me to see soon, do send me a note or comment with links to let me know, and I'll look at it. As for the rest, I'm afraid I may have to delete everything and start anew. I can't keep up.

Anyway, someone today told me in a comment that she missed me and that was incentive enough to go through all my favs messages and such to make a thank you feature. Hadn't done that since April!



~ I saw this idea on Lazulyte's journal and I thought it was a great idea! So I'm going to start doing this, too. Instead of saying a plain "thank you" to all the deviants who take the time to support my work, I'll be going around their gallery, pick a deviation I like and feature it in my journal. ~

Company 0051 Contest EntryThe sound of a door slamming caught Kit’s attention as she was walking around the camp after fleeing the mess hall. She peeked around the side of the building she had stopped by, and she saw Dunny and his friends walking away from the Maser Chief’s tent. As the others moved away, Kit warily made her way over to the door. Once she was there, she raised her hand, as if to knock, but paused, a worried frown on her face.
‘Ah to hell with this,’ Kit growled to herself before finally knocking. ‘Well, it was nice knowing me.’
When the Spartan opened the door, he looked like he was ready to throttle somebody, but the look changed to one of faint confusion when he saw Kit standing in front of his door.
“What do you want?” he asked, eyeing the girl in front of him.
“Um, I saw what happened in the mess hall, and just wanted to make sure you were okay,” Kit squeaked, staring up at him. ‘Damn, he’s tall!’
