A world of laughter

I was told that today was World Laughter Day, so I figured it would be fitting to gather a collection of happy/carefree looking and laughing faces from around the world.

This collection has, if I counted well, 88 thumbs portraying laughter in some shape or form (mostly of people, but some of animals too, and there are even some poems) Enjoy... and laugh! It's good for you.

And make the whole world seem like a blessing
So much bliss that may egress from ones mouth
Is found from simple actions
Smile now and a laugh will soon come

The power of laughter,
Is a mighty thing.
It makes us cry,
It makes us sing.
Laughter can hurt,
But take it in stride.
For life is not long,
For pain to abide.
So let out a chuckle,
Don't stifle a giggle.

it doesn't need an introduction
it leaves one feeling rejuvenated
and almost tired after
It leaves us gasping
chocking
hacking
up the air
for if we don't
we'll die
at least with a smile
across our jovial faces.
It snorts
it cackles
its pitch are high
low
and
in between.
Its unique to the individual
and leaves many to pee.
The Laughter soaks us all up
in an embracing hug of joy
a common language everyone knows
and enjoys.
But sometimes laughter can be fake
forcing us to be rude, or sweet.
It's hollow laugh
making up for a mistake
or bad joke.
We laugh at ourselves
and others
to involved in the moment to care
leaving side-pains
and shortness of breath
and even new underwear.
it's something I'm addicted to
and it is easily contagious
It starts with you
and ends with me
