Temple of Augustus and Livia

An old roman temple in Vienne. It was once used as a church during the medieval period, if memory serves, and as a library later on, lol. Now, it's abandonned, though they light it up at night, from what I read. We never got around to seeing the city lit up because by the time we got back from eating dinner, my feet or my back (sometimes both) hurt too much to go back around again. What can I say, I'm too old for walking all day, day in and day out like I used to.

I couldn't get the whole darn thing in the shot because I had a building at my back... and I couldn't take the shot from the other side of the square becuse the sun was to the left here and it would have overexposed the picture (yes, it did... I actually tried, even though I knew better, lol). I do have anotehr shot from Saturday which is taken at a different time of day and is taken from the other end. It's a different angle and I liked both, so you're getting both here.

Very fast shutter speed because the bloody sun was too bright again. Although, here it came out good, because it gave the sly its nice blue colour. Sharpness adjusted and maybe a little cropping.
